Why your website is indexed but not ranking
Being in Google’s index only means you’re eligible to appear. If nobody finds you, one of these common problems is probably the reason.
Search Console says your page is indexed, yet it never seems to appear. Being indexed only puts you in the race, so here are the usual reasons you aren’t placing.
The page doesn’t match the intent
Search your target phrase and look at what ranks. If Google shows guides and your page is a sales page, it is unlikely to compete until the format matches.
Stronger pages already exist
Compare your page with the top results honestly. If theirs are more complete or more useful, yours needs real improvement, not small edits.
Your site has little authority
A new site with few links from elsewhere will struggle for competitive searches. Start with more specific phrases while you build a reputation.
Your pages compete with each other
Several similar pages can split your signals. Combine them into one strong page, and redirect the rest.
